It is with deep sadness the family announce the passing of Donald "Don" Robert Green, age 79, of Sackville, NB, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.  He was the son of the late William and Ruth Green.

Don was an active and fun loving man who enjoyed time spent with family and friends.  He was a former Duke of Edinburgh Leader, a director at the Sackville Curling Club, a manager with Minor Hockey, a volunteer with Boy Scouts,  and RSM with 8th Canadian Hussars Militia.  He enjoyed woodworking, sailing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.  He had a great love for his Labrador Retrievers and looked forward to time spent at the cottage, in his garden, in Jed's Shed and Happy Hour under the trees.  Don retired as farm manager for Canada Agriculture.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Marie Green, Sackville; sons, Michael (Cheryl), Sackville, David (Corrie), Hoyt, NB; 2 grandchildren Mitchell and Bridget; special cousins Scott and Nancy Cushing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Due to COVID Restrictions at the time of Don's passing, we are now hosting A Celebration of Don's Life on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Sackville, NB. All are welcome.
