It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannie Albertine Fillmore, 73, of Dorchester Cape, on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, Jean was a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Collette) Cormier.

Jean always had the biggest smile and the warmest heart; she would talk to anyone. She loved people and animals, and enjoyed shopping and going to bingo with her friends. Jean loved spoiling her granddaughter. She loved life and will be deeply missed by many who loved her.

Jean will be sadly missed by her husband of 18 years, George Fillmore of Dorchester, NB; daughter Heidi Fuellert (Denis O'Brien), of Haute-Aboujagane, NB; two sons, David Fuellert, of Shelburn, ON, and Albert Fuellert (Mae Quilor) of Georgetown, ON, as well as one granddaughter, Serena O'Brien and one grandson, Tyler Fuellert. She is also survived by two sisters, Clare Gallant and Alma Gray; six stepchildren, Lisa (Carlos) Da Silva, Carl Fillmore, Larry Fillmore, Catherine (Murray) Pell, Robert Fillmore and Susan (Thomas) Bint; five step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren along with several nieces.

Besides her parents Jean was predeceased by her step-son, Jeffrey Fillmore.

Jean was retired from Cape Bald Packers in Cap-Pele where she had made lots of friends.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  A time of public visitation for both Jeannie and George will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will follow on Saturday at 11 am at the funeral Home with interment to be held at the St. Edward's Cemetery in Dorchester.
