It is with sadness we announce the passing of Leona M. LeBlanc, age 83, of Petit-Cap, NB.  Leona passed away on Sunday June 19, 2016 at the Villa Providence, Shediac.

Born in Petit-Cape, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Malthide (Richard) Legere.

She is sadly missed by her husband Aurele, Petit-Cap, NB; children Billy (Camilla) Richard, Shediac, Aurella LeBlanc (dec. Alyre), Moncton, Ovila (Dorothy), Moncton, Robert (Mary), Maccan, NS, Justine (Rejean), Petit-Cap, Jeffrine, Petit-Cap, Mike (Audrey), Cornwall, PEI, and Betty Gautreau, Cap-Pelé; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Joe (Linda) Legere, Shediac, Donald (Fernande), Moncton, Alban (Denise), Petit-Cap; sisters Yvette (Dismas) Cormier, Cap-Pelé, Colestie Despres, Petit-Cap, Margerite (Gerard) Cormier, Cap-Pelé, Yvonne Cormier (dec. Romeo), Petit-Cap.

She was predeceased by son Alfred; daughter Theresa Fougere; brother Tiboy; sisters Anita Legere and Delia Cormier.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241).  Visiting hours will be held at Club d'Age d'Or, Shemogue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11 am, Father Savio Mazerolle officiating, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
