The death of Ruth Bernadette Cormier, 49, of Moncton and formerly of Dorchester occurred suddenly on Sunday July 26, 2015.  Born in Waltham, Mass, she was a daughter of Edmee (Cormier) and the Late Ralph Cormier.

Ruth graduated from Tantramar Regional High School in 1983. She loved reading and watching the history channel and had a great interest in art.  She looked forward to walking to Tim Horton's with her friends and her Tuesday swims.

She will be dearly missed by her mother, Edmee Cormier of Dorchester; three brothers, Bruce (Lesia), Brampton, ON, David (Sunai), Minnesota and Sydney (Denise), Irishtown; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends.

Ruth was predeceased by her father in 1983.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  There is to be no visitation.  A graveside service will be held from the St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10 am followed by followed by a reception at the Dorchester Masonic Hall.  Father Allison Carroll officiating.

Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
