It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of
Kenneth Edward Snowdon, age 80, of
Westcock. Ken passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday,
June 1, 2015.
Born in Westcock, NB, he was a son of the late Kenneth and
Evelyn (Maxwell) Snowdon.
Ken worked 35 years at the Animal Pathology Lab in
Sackville. He loved woodworking and enjoyed building things
for friends and family. An avid sportsman, he played for
Goodwin's Discounts Softball team and coached minor hockey.
He was a charter member of the Sackville Lion's Club and volunteered
at the Westcock Cemetery. During his long and active retired
life with his loving wife Jean, he enjoyed wintering in Florida and
summers at the cottage.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Jean, Sackville; his
children Rick (Joanne), Sherwood Park, AB and Kim (Jim) Sproul,
Westcock; 4 grandchildren, Jenna, Amy, Christopher and Victoria;
sister Ruth (Sidney) Cole, Sackville.
He was predeceased by brother Norman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Ken's Funeral
service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11
am, Pastor Vernon Vickruck officiating. Following a light
lunch, burial will take place in the Westcock Cemetery.
