The death of Mildred Kathleen McKinnon, 88, of Wood Point, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Born in Petitcodiac, Mildred was a daughter of the late George and Kathleen (Jones) Nickerson and the widow of the late Murray McKinnon.

She will be sadly missed by her son George (Kathy), Dunsford, ON and her daughter; Donna (Gilbert) Vineham, Moncton; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister; Georgina (Bernie) Kauffman, Gaithersburg, MD and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Murray; brothers Malcolm, Ollie and Elmer and sister Betty.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300).  There is to be no visitation or funeral service.  A graveside service will be held at the Westcock Cemetery at a later date.

Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Drew Nursing Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
