Davis was a true man, larger than life.  He was a lumberman in and around Dorchester for over 35 years.  He was a great outdoorsman who loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was generous with his spirit and his time and made himself available for anyone anytime.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Sandra (Steve) Hartman, Caledon, ON, Davis (Carrie Anne), Tusket, NS, Michael (Teresa), Dorchester, Patrick (Lesley Johnson), Rocky Mountain House, AB; their mother Therese (Jerry) Freeman, Moncton; grandchildren, Mathew, Nathan, Ethan, Michael, Noah, Timothy, Patrick and Brett; great granddaughter Olivia; siblings, Gene (Maggie), Rita Bunnell, and Madeline Kelly, all of Connecticut, and Linda (Norman) Caissie, Moncton.

The youngest of 13, he was predeceased by siblings Floyd, Kenneth, Charlie, Marion, Josephine, Edith, Ruth, and Harold.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the procession to Mass.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 am from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville, Father Allison Carroll officiating.  Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Parish Cemetery, Limestone Siding, NB at a later date.
