The death of Burton Ronald Banks, 62, occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.  Burton, a resident of the Drew Nursing Home, was born on September 8, 1952 in Amherst, NS and was a son of the late Ronald and Marjorie (Fullerton) Banks.  

Burton had many wonderful friends who loved him dearly and will sadly miss him.  He was particularly fond of animals, and in particular, his dog and best friend, Shadow.

His kindness was felt by everyone who knew him.

Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300).  There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.  A graveside service will be held in the spring in the family plot.

Donations in memory of Burton may be made the local chapter of the SPCA.
