It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Nora D. Melanson, age 82, of Sackville.  Nora passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 2, 2015 with her loving husband and family by her side.

Born in St. Andre, NB, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Pettipas) Gautreau.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, and more recently St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church.  She was a loving wife and mother.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 63 years, Laurie Melanson, Sackville; sons Ronald (Maggie), Ottawa and Glen (Barbara), Riverview; brother Donald (Marlene), Oshawa, ON; sister Della (Leonard) Belliveau, Dieppe.

She was predeceased by her brother Jerry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11 am, Father Allison Carroll officiating from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville.  Burial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.
