It is with sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Mabel Smart while surrounded by her loving family.  Audrey passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the age of 85.

Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Hans and Emily Simpson.

Audrey loved to cook.  She was an avid Bingo player, and loved to take care of her husband and family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband James, Port Elgin; 6 children Jeanette (Fergie Lawson), Walton's Beach, Ian (Shirley), Anderson Settlement, Mike, Coburg, Maureen (Lorne) Allen, Baie Verte, Glenn (Tara), Baie Verte, Shaun (Sheri), Sackville; 18  grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister Maureen (Jim) Colfer, Baie Verte; sister-in-law Shirley Simpson, England.

She was predeceased by brothers Fred and Patrick.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place.  In keeping with Audrey's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
