It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing
of Robert Judson Tower of Middleton, NB
on June 19, 2014. Born in Sackville, NB on August 6, 1939,
he was the son of the late Hartley and Twila (Lewis)
Tower.
He spent his working years in road construction
throughout the Maritimes. He was a true Toronto Maple Leaf
fan and followed the Amherst Ramblers.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years,
Nancy (nee Wry), sons Brent (Heather), Brook (Marlene) and Jeffery
(Angela) and daughters Vicki (Ian) Steeves and Beth (Terry) Mitchell;
grandchildren, Vanessa and Megan, Katherine, Lisa and Emily, Matthew
and Jami, Colton and Tanner, Olivia and Sam and two great
grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Norma, Allean,
Margaret, and brothers, Hartley (Bud), and William (Bill).
In accordance with Bob's wishes, there
will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are under the
care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville
(364-1300). Donations may be made to the Bob Edgett's Boxing
Club or a charity of one's choice.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Dow
and the nurses of the Cardiac ICU of the Moncton
Hospital.
