It is with deep sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Emerise Cullen, age 86, of Shemogue.  Emerise passed away at the Westford Nursing Home on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

Born in Shemogue, she was a daughter of the late Albany and Beatrice (Duguay) Donelle.

Emerise took pride in caring for her family and loved to cook.  She was a member of the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Shemogue.  

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Florence (Jean) Saulnier, Cap-Pele, and Marjorie Cullen, Vancouver; son, Gary (Charline) Cullen, Port Elgin; 6 grandchildren, Joline, Kyla, Monica, Jessica, Ryan, and Francine; sister Geraldine Babineau, Moncton; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Emerise was predeceased by her husband Elmer "Mick" in 1996, one sister and five brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home (506-538-2241).  Visiting hours will take place at the Jones Family Funeral Chapel, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:30 am from St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
