Jacqueline "Jackie"
Beal, age 66, of Green Road, Westcock passed away
peacefully at the Dr. Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Monday,
February 22, 2010 while surrounded by the comforting love of her
family.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter
of Alda (Allen) Meekins, Springhill and the late Jack
Meekins.
Jackie spent her life caring for and loving her family. She adored shopping, and playing Bingo. She enjoyed camping and spent her last summer camping with her family, which was a great pleasure after battling her illness for the past two years.
In addition to her mother, she will be sadly missed by her husband Walter, Sackville; sons Ricky (Lisa), Sackville, Randy, Moncton; daughter Sheri (Shaun) Smart, Sackville; 5 grandchildren, Miranda, Brayden, Samantha, Brittany and Travis; 4 brothers, Bob (Marilyn), Springhill, David (Sandy), Springhill, Gary (Deanne), Oyen, AB, Paul (Cathy), Springhill; 4 sisters, Marilyn Sheppard, Springhill, Pat (Marlin) Fairman, Calgary, AB, Faye (Doug) Spence, Springhill, Pam Chedore, Windsor, ON; special cousin Diane Debaie, Salisbury, NB; several nieces and nephews and her shopping buddy Evelyn Hicks.
She was predeceased by her father, brother-in-law Bill Sheppard and nephew Matthew Meekins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11 am, Pastor Ryan Skaling officiating. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill in the spring.
