The death of Anthony Arsenault, age 93, of Sackville, occurred at the
Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, following
a lengthy illness
Born in Bedeque, PEI, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Josephine
Arsenault. Leaving PEI at age 18, after teaching himself English, he
was employed with Record Foundry , Moncton and moved to Sackville in
1967 to work at Fawcett Foundry.
Anthony will be sadly missed by 4 daughters, Jeannette, Alice
(Ronnie) Ricker, Helen (Jerry) Brine and Yvonne (Jimmy) Sterling, all
of Sackville; 2 sons, Paul (Susan), Amherst, NS and Fred (Doris) of
Sackville; 10 grandchildren, Tammy, John, Coral, Jamie, Gerald,
Amelia, Larry, Cynthia, Daisy and Tony; 13 great grandchildren, a
sister, Margaret MacLennan, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Betty; infant son,
Tony; grandchildren, Louise and Angel Dawn; and one great grandchild,
Cassandra.
The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral
Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300) from where visitation
will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be
held at the funeral home on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 11 am, Pastor
Hugh Davidson officiating. Burial in the Four Corner's Cemetery.
