The death of John William Mahoney, 72, of Baie Verte, NB, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2020.  John was born in Saint John, NB on July 11, 1947.

John loved cars and driving fast. His favorite show was the Dukes of Hazzard and he shared this love with his grandson Isaiah 

John leaves behind his loving daughter Melanie and his two grandsons, Isaiah & Abel Mahoney; his partner Sandra Reade & her son Kelly, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & many much loved friends.

John will be laid to rest with his sister Gert, and his father Leo.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Honouring John's wishes, there is to be no visitation or funeral services at this time.

Donations in memory of John may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
