It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Edwin James (Ted) Wood of
Murray Corner at the age of 82. Ted passed away peacefully at the
Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2020, surrounded by
his loving family.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the
late James and Doris (Arbing) Wood.
Ted loved bowling and especially Golf,
where, on the golf course and to others, he was known as Tiger
Teddy. He loved
a good game of cards. Most of
all, he loved time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his wife
Violet (Allen) of 59 years, daughters Darlene Wood, Creston, BC, and
Hollie (Michael) Lake, Murray Corner; son Ron (Andrés
Basteris) Wood, Murray Corner; grandchildren Ashley and Alex Lake; his
loving cat of 15 years Squeaky; granddog Victor and 2 great granddogs
Chevy and Chibbs; sister Iva Rayworth, Port Elgin, brother Erwin
(Mona) Wood, Truro, NS; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Irene and
Elsie; brothers George and Jimmy.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Port
Elgin and Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). An Afternoon of Remembrance
will be held at Jones' in Port Elgin, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm
with a service of Gratitude to be held at 3 pm.

the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or a charity of your
choice.
