It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Marie Arsenault, 94, of Shemogue, NB, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.  Lorraine was born May 19, 1925, a daughter of the late Simon and Marie (Richard) Duguay.

Lorraine had been an active member of St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue.

She was an avid quilter and enjoyed night of cards.  She was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by, her children, Marie (Albéo) Gould, Ronald (Cheryl) Arsenault, and Bernard (Julia) Arsenault, all of Shemogue; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Brigitte), Joshua (Krista), Nicole (Videan), and Jessalyn (Joey); six great grandchildren, Annabelle, Ariane, Ella, Ava, Kahlan, and Skylar; her sisters, Sister Elisa Duguay and Adrienne (Valerie) Fagan, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Irénée Arsenault; two infant children; four brothers, Charlie, Guillaume, Gerard and Pierre Duguay, and a sister, Béatrice Arsenault.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Homes, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  A time of public visitation will be held from the Club D'Age D'Or, Shemogue, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 6-8 pm and on Monday from 9 am until the time of departure for the funeral service at 11 am from St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue.  Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.  A time of reception will be held at the Club D'Age D'Or following the service.

Donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
