Jereomy was an active outdoor enthusiast.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed anything to do with the woods or nature.  He loved all types of animals and had pets of all varieties over the years.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Jereomy will be deeply missed by his wife, Tracy Smith, of Bayfield; a step-son, Ryan Smith, Halifax, NS; a step-daughter, Courtney Miller, Amherst; a granddaughter, Olivia, Amherst; his father, Jimmy (Pam) Trenholm of Upper Cape, NB; his mother, Wendy (Reg) Holland, Jolicure, NB; a sister, Janice Trenholm, Grande-Digue, NB; a brother, Ernie Trenholm, Port Elgin, NB; a step sister, Kate Hurley, Halifax, NS; a step brother, Tyrrell Hurley; his father-in-law, Douglas Smith.  In addition, he is survived by a very large family of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jereomy was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leata and Basil Turner; his paternal grandparents, Irene and George Trenholm, as well as his mother-in-law, Margaret Smith.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home.  A time of visitation will be held at their Port Elgin location, 3 West Main Street (538-2241) on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 7-9 pm.  A celebration of Jereomy's life will be held at the Cape Tormentine Legion at a later date.
