Allan Bernard Cormier - age 80, of Dorchester Cape, NB went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Dorchester Cape, he was the son of the late Alyre and Alma (Richard) Cormier.

Allan will be remembered for his love and devotion to Christ. He modeled what it is to love and care for his family and to serve others. He worked as an industrial mechanic and had a strong work ethic. He enjoyed building, restoration and renovation projects. He loved gardening and was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was proud of his family and loved to see them participate in activities such as music, art, and sports, especially Titan and Mountie football.

Allan will be sadly missed by his wife Francis (McGraw), Dorchester Cape, and children Daniel (Gina), Kentville, Robert (Melissa), Sackville, Lisa (Gary) Arnold, Calgary, Isaac (Andrea), Dorchester, Timothy (Stacy), Sackville, Rebekah (Ryan) Douthwright, Notre Dame, Sarah (Mihai) Gherase, California.

Allan was the proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother Ralph, sister Roma Fillmore and brother Edgar, and survived by brothers Francis, Norman and Raymond.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where his funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 11 am, his son Rev. Daniel Cormier officiating.
