Surrounded by her loving family, Evangeline Marie Zeta "Vangie" LeBlanc, 83, of Sackville, NB, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 13, 2019.  Born in Dorchester, Vangie was a daughter of the late Sebastian and Mary Gaudet.

Vangie was known as the "Candy Lady" as she was never without a treat for anyone who visited.  She enjoyed bowling, shopping, and her pet cat.

Vangie’s favorite time of year was Christmas and her house was decorated inside and out. For the last several years she had many visitors who would come to see her display. She would walk them through every room and point out all the decorations accumulated over the years of which there were many.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed.

Vangie is survived by her husband, Levi, of Sackville, with whom she would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July; their children, Danny (Kerri), Sackville, Denis (Stacey), Sackville, Darlene (Ray Cormier) Estabrooks, Moncton, and Denise (Brian) Wry, Sackville; a son-in-law, Leigh Estabrooks, Sackville; eight grandchildren, Amanda (David) Beal, Colt, Jessie, Jordan, Amy (Grant) Palmeter, Matthew, Sebastian, and Noah; seven great grandchildren, Skyler, Peyton, Hannah, Keenan, Maddison, Jackson, and Bryor; one brother, Blair; two sisters, Florence Gaudet and Mary Jean (late Kenneth) Lowerison; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Beatrice) LeBlanc and Edgar (Gloria) LeBlanc as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  A funeral service will be held at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11 am.  Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Vangie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the one's choice.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Vangie's online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page.
