1948-2018

Bernice Margaret Emmerson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bernice Margaret Emmerson, 69, of Dorchester, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, November 8, 2018.

Born in Moncton, Bernice was a daughter of the late Albert and Rachael (Berry) Teed.

Bernice was a much adored waitress with Borden's Restaurant for over 22 years. She loved bingo and a good game of cards, especially Auction 45's. She loved life and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Bernice will be sadly missed by her husband of fifty-one years, Reg Emmerson, of Dorchester; her daughter, Denise (Mike Nye) Harrison, of Dorchester; four grandchildren, Dana, Kesha, Kara, and Kayla; three great grandchildren, Chelsea, Annabella, and Leah; siblings, Ronnie, Sandra, Paul, Sheila, Jean, and Mary, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son David and several brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the St. Edward's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dorchester.
