It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Clarence William Wheaton, age 91, of Midgic, NB.  Clarence passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Born in Midgic, NB, he was a son of the late Merley and Ethel (Phinney) Wheaton.

Clarence worked at Enterprise Foundry until his retirement, but his real passion was his farm in Midgic.  He was forever a farmer, caring for his animals and land.  His pride was his family, his wife, his girls and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Betty, Sackville, NB; daughters Lois (John) Wood, Wood Point, NB, Starr (Barry) Parker, Moncton, NB, Janet (Geoff) Johanntges, Calgary, AB, Janice (Denny) Amos, Sackville, NB, Wanda (Dan) Johnson, Woodpoint, NB, and Carole Wheaton, Moncton, NB; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother Floyd (Diane) Wheaton, Midgic, NB; sister Cassie (Ernie) Harper, Sackville, NB; sisters in law Gertrude Wheaton, Maddie Wheaton and Norma Hicks, all of Sackville, NB, Jackie Hicks, Oshawa, ON; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters Margaret Beal, Nita Boudreau, Geneva Crossman, Erma Hicks, Donnie Read; brothers Retias, Doug, Herman, Cecil, 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) from where visiting hours will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm.  A funeral service for Clarence will be held from the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, NB, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2 pm, Pastor Paul Bedford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Midgic Cemetery.
