It is with terrible sadness that we announce the tragic death of our father and husband, Tyler Kenneth Fillmore of Upper Cape, NB.  Tyler was born on January 25, 1989 in Orillia, Ontario.

Tyler was a devoted family man who loved his wife and four daughters with all of his heart.  He was an avid outdoors man with a particular interest in fishing.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.  He was fun loving and was always joking around.

Tyler was many things to all of us.  Cherish your memories of him and the place he holds in your heart.

He will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend of nearly ten years, Sara Fillmore, of Lakeville, NB; his four cherished daughters, Emma, Lexa, Savanna and Chance.  In addition to his wife and precious girls, Tyler will never be forgotten by his many close family members and friends, too numerous to mention.

Tyler's arrangements have been entrusted into the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  There will be a graveside service at the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 3 pm.  Wayne Jarvis DLM officiating.

Donations in memory of Tyler may be made to Canadian Mental Health.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be made to the family by visiting Tyler's online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page.

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints in the sand,
other times only one.
I said to the Lord
“You promised that if I followed you, you would walk with me always.
Why then during the most difficult times of my life,
were there only one set of footprints?”
The Lord replied,
“Those times were when I carried you.”
