It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
our mother and grandmother, Eunice Ardella Hicks, 85, of
Westcock, NB, surrounded by her loving family at the
Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
Eunice was born in Westcock, the daughter of the
late Florena King.
Eunice was a devoted and caring wife and mother
her entire life. An avid baker and cook, she was well known
for her skills in the kitchen. She was a kind and
friendly lady who made friends everywhere she went. She loved a long
drive in the car with her husband and family with the
occasional side-trip to a yard sale or two. She never had a
bad word to say and her smile will be forever missed.
Eunice will be dearly missed by her children Sharon
(Dale) Ward, Westcock, Barry (Rhonda), Westcock, Marsha (Gary
Mulder) Thompson, Pictou, NS, Brent (Lori Marsh), Sackville
and Tracy (Troy Lorette) Hicks, Westcock; her special girl Lottie;
ten grandchildren, Wayne, Terri, David, Shawn, Stacey,
Derrick, Tory, Becky, Jordan and Jessica; twelve great grandchildren,
Hunter, Christopher, Tristian, Kyla, Rylan, Austin, Wesley,
Marisa, Naudia, Katerina, Riley, and Katelyn.
Eunice was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by Arthur and
Olive Duncan; her loving husband of sixty-one years, Floyd
Hicks and her son-in-law, John Thompson.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of
