It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Robby" Cullen, age 85, of Greater Shemogue.  Robby passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 with family by his side at the Dr. Georges L. DuMont Hospital.

Born in Shemogue, he was a son of the late Patrick and Melanie (LeBlanc) Cullen.

He began work in Nova Scotia in the woods, then spend most of his life as a heavy equipment operator working for Moncton Crushed Stone.  Robby was an outdoors man, and loved cutting wood.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Dora, Shemogue, NB; children Marlene (Ernie) LeBlanc, Trois Ruisseaux, NB, Debbie (Paul) LeBlanc, Dupuis Corner, NB, Leroy (Debbie) Cullen, Rothesay, NB, Lorne (Kathy) Cullen, Shemogue and Jocelyn (Raymond) Gould, Memramcook; 8 grandchildren, Tammy, Kathy, Colleen, Darryl, Kayla, Sullivan, Shelley and Tashia; 6 great grandchildren, Noah, Tyson, Molly Mackenzy, Isabel, and Miguel.

The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by half sisters Annie and Agnes and half brothers Emile, Laurie, Leonce, and Tim; adopted sister Emily Gaudet.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Sackville & Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241).  Visiting hours will be held from the Club d'Age d'Or, Greater Shemogue on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.  The funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Greater Shemogue, Father L. Boudreau officiating, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:30 am.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
