Born in Scotchtown, Cape Breton, NS, she was a daughter of the late Myles and Mae (O'Connor) MacDonald.
Edna married her husband Frank in Cape Breton in 1958, moving to Dorchester in 1962, where they brought up their family and lived most of their lives. An excellent athlete in her younger years, Edna has been a great supporter of Tantramar Titan sports for the past 40 years and enjoyed watching her four children and then her grandchildren play basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, and hockey.
