Alice enjoyed
spending time with her family and friends, traveling, camping, playing
cards, knitting, crocheting, watching figure skating on TV,
and she loved sitting on her patio swing on the back deck enjoying the
sun. She also was an avid Wheel of
Fortune follower. It was an evening ritual for her
and her husband to watch the program together. Alice was a
member of St. Ann's Anglican Church.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of
Jones Funeral Home, Sackville
(506-536-1300). Honoring Alice's wishes, there is
to be no visitation or funeral service. A private family
burial will take place at a later date. As requested by
Alice, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the
Arthritis Society, The Heart & Stroke Foundation, St. Ann's
Anglican Church, or a charity of the donor's

The family would like to
express their deepest gratitude to everyone at the Drew Nursing Home,
particularly all the staff on the Chignecto Unit for their
compassion and for going that extra mile to make her smile and put
that twinkle in her eye. Thank you so much for the
care and kindness you gave our mother. Thank you to all the
doctors, too numerous to mention, who attended to Mom over
the years. Finally her pain is gone and she is at
peace.
