It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Violet Carlotta (Allen) Cluney, age 70, of Bayfield.  Violet passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Murray Corner, NB, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mildred (Tower) Stright.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Norman Allen, Bayfield, NB; daughters Eileen and Pam; 6 grandchildren Michael, Michelle, Sara, Justin, Jordan and Brooke; 3 great grandchildren Zachary, Hannah and Mason; siblings, Peter, Braydon, Glenn, Star, Helen and Phyllis.

She was predeceased by her daughter Shirley and sister Ada.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241).  In keeping with Violet's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.  Cremation has taken place, and Violet has returned home with her husband.
