It is with sadness that we announce the passing of R. Murray Legere, age 61, of Sackville.  Murray passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Lorraine (Fougere) Legere.

Murray is survived by his daughter Natasha (Mike) Mosher, Beaumont, AB; son Brendan (Jaime) Legere, Mullhurst, AB; grandson Liam Mosher and granddaughter Haley Mosher and grandson Brody Legere; brothers Roger (Mollie), Riverview, Camille (Janice), Jerry (Patricia), both of Port Elgin, and special sister Annette (Bruce) Carter, Murray Corner; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by infant sister Mary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Care and Guidance of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241).  Cremation has taken place and funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Broderick from St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 am.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
