It is with our deepest regret that Trevor Edmund Hicks, age 71, of Upper Aboujagane.  Trevor passed away at home on July 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Tum-bridge Wells Kent England, he was a son of Betty (Sefton) Hicks and the late Edmund Hicks.

Trevor was employed in the Royal Canadian Navy for 12 years and 22 years with Corrections Canada, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 51 years.  

He leaves behind his wife Susanne Hicks of 53 years, and his mother Betty Hicks; two sisters Leona Penley and Linda Piper; one brother David Hicks along side with their spouses.  He will be deeply missed by his son Christopher Hicks; two daughters Bettyjo Estabrooks and Tracy Neate, along side with their spouses.  Also his six grandchildren Andrew, Melissa, Robin, Karly, Karisa and Brandon; one great granddaughter Sierra.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home where cremation has taken place.  In keeping with Trevor's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  The family would like to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses who helped in his care.
