With her family by her side, Betty Evelyn Patterson, 85, of Sackville, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  Born in Middle Sackville, Betty was a daughter of the late Mace and Evelyn Estabrooks.

Betty loved bowling, playing cards and Bingo.  She and her husband Ellsworth, always looked forward to camping in their trailer with their poodle, Candy.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 34 years, Ellsworth Patterson, Sackville; a daughter Bonnie (Doug) Stokes, Moncton; four grandchildren Jody, Shannon, Travis and Tyler; several great grandchildren; step children Cynthia (Frances Capstick) Bowles, Lake Echo, NS; Danny (Lori) Patterson, Sackville and Paul (Cheri) Patterson, Moncton; several step grand and great grandchildren, as well as brothers, George (Barb), Barrie, ON, and Butch (Nicole) Estabrooks, Dorchester.

Besides, her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, George Landry; a daughter Angela Harper; brothers Harley and Ansel, and sisters Edith Hicks, and Gloria Cole.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (506-364-1300) from where a time of visitation will be held 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Friday, June 30, 2017. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 am from the funeral home with a burial to follow at the Sackville Cemetery.  Pastor Hal Lowther presiding.
