It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kathy Pooley, age 60, of Sackville.  Kathy passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Marguerite (Tower) Sloan.

Being of strong faith, Kathy was very active in many aspects of the church, especially Sunday School.  She worked along side her husband running Pooley's Electric for 35 years.  She was always active raising money for the Terry Fox Foundation or the Relay for Life and enjoyed spending time curling.  Family was everything to Kathy; she and Allan supported each other's endeavours, she loved and cared for her children, and always looked forward to planning adventures for her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Allan, Sackville; daughter Bethany (James) MacDonald, Sackville; son Evan, Halifax; grandsons Eric and Kyle; "granddaughter" Emma McGraw; brother Jim (Karen) Sloan, Tidnish, NS.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.  A funeral service honouring Kathy's life will be held on Monday, May 29 at 2 pm from Main Street Baptist Church, Sackville, Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating followed by burial in the Sackville Cemetery.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Kathy may do so to the Main Street Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.

Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Kathy's online memorial through the funeral home Facebook page, or by visiting www.jonesfuneralhome.ca.
