It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Theodoros James McKenzie
Stylianides on Friday 24th March,
aged 20.
Theo was our beloved son and grandson,
friend and brother.
He will be sorely missed by parents
George and Sue, sisters Anna, Iona and Sophia, brother Isaak, grandma
Jean and yiayia Eugenia, extended family in England and friends in
Mount Allison, Halifax, St. John’s, Kuala Lumpur and around
the world. Theo was born in Aberdeen, Scotland but spent his
childhood in St. John’s where he was an active and fun
loving member of the community, enjoying soccer, hockey and played
music in the Suzuki Talent Education Program.
After completing the IB diploma at the
International School of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Theo took a gap year
working as a volunteer at Ochil Tower School for children with special
support needs, in Auchterarder, Perthshire.
Theo was a first year student at Mount
Allison University.
Mass for Theo will be held at 1:15pm on
Tuesday 4th April
at St. Pius X on Smithville Crescent, St. John’s (please no
flowers). Following mass friends of the family are invited
to a reception at the home of Brendan Barrett and Mary
O’Brien 6 Kensington Drive, St. John’s.

Our dearest Theo will forever remain in
our hearts.
