It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Lawrence Carr, age 89, of Sackville, formerly of Rusagonis, NB.  Richard passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Drew Nursing Home.

Richard was born in Rainy River, Ontario, the son of Lawrence Cecil Carr. 

Richard worked as an Electrical Engineer and was employed all over the world during his career.  He was a very brilliant man who loved to talk about anything and everything.

Richard will be dearly missed by his children, Margaret, Catherine, Robert, Peter and Elizabeth; his grandchildren Vena and Apollo, close friend Mary Ann Peters and her children Kim (Craig) Wilmot, Sackville, James (Alissa Stairs) Peters, Kingston, NB, and Karen (Mark) Cooney, Norton, NB; her grandchildren Amanda, Rachael, Seth, Heather, James and Maxwell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or service.  Burial will take place in Florenceville at a later date.
