The death of Carmelita
Jacqueline Dedam, 61, of Sackville, occurred suddenly
at home on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Born in Sackville,
Carmelita was a daughter of the late Carmen and Bernice (Tower)
Snowdon.
Carmelita was very soft-hearted and was
always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved spending
time with her family, in particular her children and
grandchildren. She loved listening to Elvis.
She will be sadly missed by her
children, Angel (Martie) Kinnear, Port Elgin and Brian (Dasha) Dedam,
Antigonish; her grandchildren, Logan, Danika, Bentley, and Dillan; a
brother, Charlie Snowdon; an uncle, Jack Snowdon; an aunt, Jean
Snowdon; special friends, Valois Jacob and Harry Green, as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by two sisters, Tammy, and Judy; brothers, Doug and Frank; a nephew,
David and a niece Judith and good friend, Betty Melissa
Ward.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of
visitation will be held on Monday, February, 20, 2017 from 2-4
pm. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on
Tuesday at 2 pm.

expenses, in memory of Carmelita, would be greatly
