It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Ruth Eileen Wright, age 87, of Sackville.  Irene passed away peacefully at the Drew Nursing Home on Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Born in Westcock, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Susan (Steeves) Wright.

Irene worked for Jones Funeral Home in her early years, and was employed with Jones Insurance for 13 years, retiring in 1988.

She will be sadly missed by a sister-in-law Wilhena Wright of Amherst, and several nieces and nephews.  

She is predeceased by brothers Leonard, Arthur, Harold and Robert, and sister Laura Oulton.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  A funeral will take place at Jones Funeral Home in May.  Further arrangements will be announced closer to that time.
