Tragically, at the age of nineteen,
William Lorne Smith of Wood Point, NB,
passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday October 15,
2016. Born in Moncton, William was a son of William and
Shelly (Snowdon) Smith.
William had a passion for motocross and
dirt bikes, and was an avid hunter. He was very comical and
loved to joke and tease. He had a kind heart and dearly
loved his family and children.
William will be deeply missed by his
wife, Taylor (Wheaton) and their children, Olivia and Kayden Smith, of
Sackville; his parents, William 'Billy' and Shelly (Snowdon) Smith, of
Wood Point; two sisters, Katie (Jeremy Weldon) Smith, and their
children, Natalie and Casey, of Sackville, and Dorothy (Chase Landry)
Smith and their sons, Landon, Liam, and Aiden, of Sackville; his
brother, Michael Dowe, of Midgic, and his children, Braeden, Maddex,
Camron and Calie, as well as several aunts and uncles.
William was predeceased by his maternal
grandparents, Marven and Peggy Snowdon and his paternal grandparents,
Leslie and Violet Smith.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of
visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6-8
pm. A funeral service for William will take place at the
funeral home on Wednesday at 2 pm. Following the service,
William will be laid to rest along side his grandmother in the
Westcock Cemetery.
Donations in memory of William may be
made to the Wood Point Baptist Church or to the family to assist with
expenses.
