Marguerite Helen Stone of Saint John formerly of Sackville, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday October 4, 2016. Marg was born in Frosty Hollow, Westmorland County in January of 1925.  She was the second daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Read) Stone. Loving sister to Mary Steeves, Edith Jones, Ruth Perfect, Corinne (Mac) Martin, Frances McAllister and Ronald Stone; sister-in-law to Rev. David Gray; aunt to Donnie Stone, Bonnie McAllister, Tamara (Stephen Halsall), Reggie Stone (Heather), Gordon and Brian Gray, Debbie and Gary Barr, Greg and Robert Jones, Kelvin and Scott Martin, Jamie Perfect and Susan Farnham; many more nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews Barclay McAllister, Lauren, Courtney and Reid Halsall and many more; friends Wayne Cole and Charlie Cole.

Besides her parents, Marg was predeceased by sisters Phyllis Gray and Alice Trotter; brothers Rayworth (Jean) and  Wendell Stone; brothers-in-law Ralph Steeves, Roy Jones, Bert Perfect, Bruce Trotter and Tom McAllister and nephews Michael Jones and Russell Stone.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) & Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300).  

Memorial service will be held at St. Ann’s Anglican Church, 65 British Settlement Road,  Westcock, NB, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Westcock Cemetery.
