It is with great sorrow that the
family of the late Clinton Melbourn
Estabrooks announce his sudden passing at the Saint
John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the age of
77.
Clinton was born in Centre
Village, NB to the late Ralph and Selena Estabrooks. He will be
forever missed by his loving wife Betty, daughters Kathy (Alan)
Landry, Heather Estabrooks, and Shelley Estabrooks, and his three
grandsons Samuel, Aiden, and Marek Trites.
He was pre-deceased by
brothers Roland, Malcolm (Joyce), and Fred, and brother-in law Lincoln
Fillmore. Clinton will be fondly remembered by his brother Lee (Ruth),
sisters Ida Belle (Lorne) Wells and Mary Fillmore, sister-in-law
Annette, and several nieces and
nephews.
Clinton was a kind
hearted, caring, and hard working man with a genuine love for life,
nature, and his family. He enjoyed many hobbies including carpentry,
being in the woods, fishing, and kayaking. His favourite pastime was
being with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who
were blessed to know him.
Arrangements have been
entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge St., Sackville, (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take
place on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. The
funeral service will follow the visitation at Jones Funeral Home on
Tuesday at 2pm, with the Rev. Andrew Swanson
officiating.
Donations in honour of
Clinton can be made to the Midgic Cemetery, Main Street Baptist
Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor's
choice.
