It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Keith Stewart Walton, age 82,
of Murray Corner, NB. Keith passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his loving family at the Westford Nursing Home, Port
Elgin, NB on Friday, May 6, 2016.
Born in Bayfield, NB, he was a son of
the late Tupper and Rena (Briggs) Walton.
Keith was a lifelong farmer and
fisherman. He loved gardening, especially growing flowers
and pumpkins. For a long time he maintained a trout stocked
pond where he loved to fish. He was a kind hearted and
generous man and loved to share his crops, fish, and anything else he
had available. The community of Murray Corner, was very
important to him; he was a member of the First United Church, Murray
Corner. An avid sports person, he was a former member of the
famous Murray Corner Honkers, and always enjoyed watching the Toronto
Maple Leafs play. Above all, Keith loved his family, his
wife, children, grandchildren and his animals.
In addition to his wife Myrtle (Pauley),
he will be survived by his son Michael (Heather Moores), Westcock;
daughters Kimberly (Andrzej) Hanko, Halifax and Diane (Terry) Milton,
Sackville; 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Kendra, Scott, Jessica, and
Riley; great grandson Jacob Keith; sister Lois Walton, Sackville and
sisters in law Eva Walton, Sackville and Bernice Chase, Calgary;
brothers in law Levi Pauley and special Uncle Noel
Pauley.
He was predeceased by an infant sister
and brother Gerald.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Funeral Home (506-538-2241). Visitation will be held
from the Jones Funeral Centre, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin on Tuesday
from 6 to 8 pm. Keith's funeral will take place at the First
United Church, Murray Corner on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2 pm,
William Drysdale, DLM officiating. Burial will take place in
the Fernwood Cemetery in the spring.

may be made to the First United Church, Murray Corner, or charity of
choice.
The family would like to extend their
heartfelt thanks to the staff at Westford Nursing Home for their
wonderful care during Keith's stay.
