It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of our brother, George, on April 28, 2016.  Born in Halifax, NS, George was the son of the late Murray and Flossie Brown.

George was the previous owner/operator of George's Roadhouse and also worked at Enterprise Foundry, drove cab in Toronto, Ontario, and worked at the Sudbury Nickel Mines.  George loved the beach and enjoyed his walks, boating, and barbecues.

Known for his great story telling, quick wit, and sense of humour, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

George was predeceased, by his parents, and common-law spouse, Dayna Daly.

Left behind are George's sisters, Tammy, Gloria (Don), Pat (Kenny), Ellen (Richard), a special friend, Joanne, and his two cats, Satin and Choice.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  A graveside service will be held at the Sackville Cemetery on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1 pm followed by a celebration of George's life starting at 2 pm at the Sackville Royal Canadian Legion.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the LA Animal Shelter, Amherst.

Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting George's online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page.
