Gregory Tucker, 44, of Sackville NB, passed away on February 5, 2016.

Gregory was born in Tatamagouche, NS, and graduated from North Colchester High School, and later the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology as a plumber.

Gregory was loved by many and possessed quick wit and a great sense of humour.  He had a passion for, and followed many sports, mainly hockey and basketball, and excelled with his teammates on the Mustangs basketball team in high school.  Loyal, smart and hard-working, Gregory was naturally in leadership positions throughout his careers.  Greg has been employed by George’s Plumbing and Heating (1985) Ltd. of Moncton, NB for the past 13 years, forming many close relationships with co-workers.  He always enjoyed outdoor activities, camping, and was a skilled Boy Scout.  He was kind to many and an amazing father, who cared deeply for his children.  His love and support of his children always brought a smile to his face and to those around him.

Gregory is predeceased by his daughter, Grace; his mother Janet (Densmore) Tucker; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Mildred (MacKinnon) Tucker, and maternal grandparents, Carl and Dora (Barkhouse) Densmore.  Surviving are children, Ella, Zachary, and Caroline; their mother, Jennifer Duskocy; father, Floyd Tucker; siblings, Jennifer Tucker, Gillian (Nathan Makeiff) Tucker, and Jordan Tucker; nephew, Tanner Makeiff; Aunt, Charlotte (Terry) White; Uncle, Raymond (Laurana) Tucker; cousins, Suzanne (Danny) White-Salinas, Evan (Anne) White, Joely (Derek) Hale, Shari (Douglas) Jones, and Alecia (Gregory) Thomas.

Arrangements are under the guidance and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  A time of visitation will be held from the Middle Sackville Baptist Church on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.  A memorial service will follow at Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche, NS at 2 pm on February 20.  Interment will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the IWK Foundation, The Middle Sackville Baptist Church or a charity of choice.

Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Gregory’s online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the funeral home Facebook Page.
