Gregory
Tucker, 44, of Sackville NB, passed away on February 5,
2016.
Gregory was born in Tatamagouche, NS,
and graduated from North Colchester High School, and later the Nova
Scotia Institute of Technology as a plumber.
Gregory was loved by many and possessed
quick wit and a great sense of humour. He had a passion for,
and followed many sports, mainly hockey and basketball, and excelled
with his teammates on the Mustangs basketball team in high
school. Loyal, smart and hard-working, Gregory was naturally
in leadership positions throughout his careers. Greg has
been employed by George’s Plumbing and Heating (1985) Ltd.
of Moncton, NB for the past 13 years, forming many close relationships
with co-workers. He always enjoyed outdoor activities,
camping, and was a skilled Boy Scout. He was kind to many
and an amazing father, who cared deeply for his children.
His love and support of his children always brought a smile to his
face and to those around him.
Gregory is predeceased by his daughter,
Grace; his mother Janet (Densmore) Tucker; paternal grandparents,
Bruce and Mildred (MacKinnon) Tucker, and maternal grandparents, Carl
and Dora (Barkhouse) Densmore. Surviving are children, Ella,
Zachary, and Caroline; their mother, Jennifer Duskocy; father, Floyd
Tucker; siblings, Jennifer Tucker, Gillian (Nathan Makeiff) Tucker,
and Jordan Tucker; nephew, Tanner Makeiff; Aunt, Charlotte (Terry)
White; Uncle, Raymond (Laurana) Tucker; cousins, Suzanne (Danny)
White-Salinas, Evan (Anne) White, Joely (Derek) Hale, Shari (Douglas)
Jones, and Alecia (Gregory) Thomas.
Arrangements are under the guidance and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). A time of
visitation will be held from the Middle Sackville Baptist Church on
Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at
2 pm. A memorial service will follow at Sharon United
Church, Tatamagouche, NS at 2 pm on February 20. Interment
will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the
IWK Foundation, The Middle Sackville Baptist Church or a charity of
choice.
