It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Joyce Tower.  Surrounded by her family, she slipped peacefully away on February 5th to join Percy, her soul mate and husband of nearly six decades.  While we will miss her every single day, we know that they are together again, loving each other like they always did, and watching over their loved ones here on earth.

Predeceased by her parents Lorne Hicks and Aurelia (Crossman) and brother Lawrence, she is survived by her daughter Wendy (Keats), sons Reginald and Wade, six grandchildren Tracy, Jody, Dustin, Dylan, Joshua, and Natalie, and two great grandchildren, Jenna and Brady. Also missing her beautiful smile and laughter will be her brothers and sisters, Carol, Ron, Danny, Joan, Diane, Lloyd, and their families. All of us have spent our lives being lavished with her unconditional love and will never forget how she made us each feel like we were the most important person in the world.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  In keeping with her wishes, no funeral will be held however friends are all invited to join her family in celebrating her life at an Open House at her home at 21 Water Street in Dorchester next Saturday and Sunday, Feb 13th and 14th, between 12:00 – 9:00 pm.

Those wishing to make a donation in Joyce’s memory, may do so to the Dorchester Fire Department or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Joyce's online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the funeral home Facebook page.
