It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Barbara Jean Conrad, age 81, of Sackville.  Barbara passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Sadie (Maxwell) McPhee.

She loved time with family, especially her grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to music and spending time working at her many puzzles.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Terry, Sackville; daughters, Bonnie Stanley, Dieppe and Cathy (Blair Richard) Simon, Dorchester; 6 Grandchildren, Chris (Bev), Kelly (Bradley), Jody (Jill),  Stacey (John), Stephen (Brandi), and Lori (John), and 9 Great Grandchildren, Sam, Ryan, Mandy, Michael, Bailey, Aiden, Jaidah, Becca and Darren and 3 great great grandchildren, Austin, Aubree, and Violet; several nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her husband Maynard; brother George, sister Peggy Duncan and half sister Beatrice Maxwell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.  The funeral service for Barbara Conrad will take place on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2 pm, Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating.  Burial will take place in the Four Corners Cemetery in the spring.
