It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Miller, age 78, of Sackville.  Ruth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Montreal Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Miller.

Ruth was a retired Librarian from Mount Allison University.  She was an avid reader, and birder, and was often seen wandering the marshes, binoculars in hand.  She enjoyed afternoons with her bridge friends  and also enjoyed traveling in her retirement.  The Charlotte Court community became her second family.

She will be dearly missed by daughter, Heather MacDonald (Scott McDonald) of Ottawa; grandchildren Megan, Alex and Ryan; sister Harriet Miller, Kingston, ON; nieces and nephews Liz (David), Andrew (Mary Ella), Bruce (predeceased) and Sharon (Mark).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 2 until 4 pm.
