It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Edna Mary LeBlanc, age 91, of Great Shemogue.  Edna passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin.

Born in Greater Shemogue, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Angeline (Gallant) Melanson.

Edna was a member of the St. Timothy Parish Church, and the Club D'Age D' Or de Shemogue.

She will be sadly missed by 3 SONS;  Raymond, Cap Pele, NB, Roger, Great Shemogue, and Leo-Paul (Marie Lynn), London, ON; brother Emile Melanson, Amherst, NS; and her special niece Jeannette (Laurie) LeBlanc, Great Shemogue.

She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy, a daughter Theresa, brother Leionel and 1/2 brother Alfred Duguay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241).  Visiting hours will be held on from the Club D'Age D'Or, Great Shemogue on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Timothee Roman Catholic Church, Greater Shemogue, NB Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:30 am, Father Savio Mazerolle officiating.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  

Those wishing to make a donation in Edna's memory may do so to the Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of your choice.
