Administrative Assistant

We are a service oriented company. Any candidate must has a passion for customer service. We are currently looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to join our team.

The candidate must have organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have excellent attendance. Being able to work both independently, as well as multi-tasking in a small team based environment is required. Regularly, the chosen candidate will have one on one contact with clientele either in person or by phone in their time of need; compassion is a must.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting Funeral Directors on files and any other administrative needs
  • Making deposits
  • Sorting/Sending mail
  • Office filing
  • Maintaining all office duties Monday to Friday
  • Creating positive clientele relationships and experiences
  • Light cleaning duties of our public and office areas
  • Running office errands and any other office based duties

Experience with the following would be an asset, however the right candidate would be trained:

  • Windows/Mac systems
  • Wordprocessing
  • Photo editing
  • E-mail/Calendar
  • Multi-line phone systems

Having a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle is a plus, as some times you will be needed in our other locations for extra staff support.
